Gotta get a handle on the situation A soul solution for my frustration_________________________________________________ Sadie was supposed to be here to deliver the files that were due from St. Mungo's. She had never been quite sure how she, being a top healer always got stuck with these smaller jobs that they could have had trainees accomplish easily. At least this situation had been even a little different in it's condition. After all, these had been her files. That made it slightly simpler to find reason for her being sent off to return them. Apparently one of her more recent patients who had also been recently discharged from St. Mungo's was of at least some interest to the Ministry.
It was a little startling how someone like that could have been right under her nose. It was truly startling that, despite being an order member, none of them noticed things of that sort unless confronted with them. no one ever seemed to find reason to delve into the information behind people like that, though. There never seemed to be reason to until later, either. It was funny how those people could seem so typical until someone came up and said that there was something a little bit off. Something that didn't quite match up with the information that they already had. It could be frightening at times, too, thinking at the fact that the person that had just passed under your care could have been quite dangerous.
Sadie hated the not knowing when she had to turn in files for the inquiry of her patients that were suspected to be hiding something. Or up to something. She could handle curses, or anything that got out of hand, but the unknown was still too much of a question mark for her. Granted, she handled it surprisingly well, but that was a necessity of her job and affiliation with the Order. You had to keep a cool head under unexpected situations in her line of work. There weren't really all that many options for her to choose from other than just working through it.
Today Sadie had flooed to the Ministry's head quarters and found herself moments later emerging from the bright green flames with her large box of files. Apparently they had needed too investigate several more patients than they had first thought. Her thoughts distracted her enough that she didn't at first even notice the beginning of the twinges of a tell tale headache. A bad sign, since they were her hints to, more or less, find a place to sit until the upcoming vision passed. Otherwise she would most likely find herself falling, or drawing curiosity to herself from the ministry workers that were already streaming in rather steadily.
It took a few moments, and something akin to pounding in her head before she finally noticed, wincing in pain. Sadie turned from her originally course that would have brought her to the Auror's office, which needed her files. Instead she found herself walking briskly to a relatively small sitting room that was branched just off of the Atrium. It's uses were mostly for a spot to enjoy coffee and tea, she thought. Her first glance revealed that, along with many comfortable couches, which resembled a common room at Hogwarts greatly.
Sadie, however, didn't give much thought to the sitting room's appearances, other than noting that it was practically deserted since everyone was making their way to work at the moment. This made it all more easy for Sadie to take a seat on one of the arm chairs and place her files on the floor. There would be no one to question her once the vision finished from her thoughts. It was harder to explain to people who didn't already know of them. She really didn't want to have to explain them to anyone. Especially someone like their current Minister. Or, at least she wouldn't tell him what she saw. That was confidential, though she would relay it to the other Order members later.
Sadie felt the twinges gradually grow in intensity until they felt worse than they had in years. They had, after all, gotten much better as she had grown older. A few minutes later Sadie did something that almost seemed to be like blacking out, her eyes closing and her breathing slowed as the vision arrived. It was vivid, as always, which was not unexpected.
She felt herself sucked into the vision as she watched the conversation unfolding. It was dark, a fire slowly dying between the people. Death Eaters, she already know. That was what all of her recent visions had been about. She watched them talking, even caught a glimpse of the former patient who was under inquiry with the Ministry. She listened to the conversation for a few minutes before she was sucked back out of the vision and came to with an almost surprised gasp.
Sadie immediately drew a notebook out of her pocket and took down the details of the vision. She gently rubbed her temple with one hand as the headache continued pounding, though not as badly as it had been right before her vision had started. the fact that she was completely and utterly absorbed in taking down the notes of her vision meant she also hadn't noticed the man that had entered the relatively small sitting room.
Sadie lifted her eyes from her paper and blinked at the man, giving a slight smile. She, however didn't hold the smile long as her head twinged again. "Hello." She murmured softly as she lifted herself from her slightly slumped seating and brushed her hair behind her ear. She couldn't help but wonder how much that he had, in fact seen, and how much that he would be able to assume from it.
"So, any questions?" After all, it was better to just get it all out of the way, right. If he didn't anything he would just look at her oddly. A quick and easy way to find out, she supposed. She was going to find out momentarily exactly what his thoughts were on her 'episode' momentarily. At least, hopefully. The unknown really was much too unsettling for her taste.

Post by ROGER BLACKTHRONE on Jan 1, 2013 21:09:41 GMT 1
Roger had arrived at the ministry early that morning before most of the ministry workers had arrived, the only ones that were before he was were most of the aurors, the minister of magic, three fourths of the heads of departments and a few other ministry workers that had to come early that day. Being the head of the department of mysteries was one of the harder jobs, mainly because of all the secrets that was kept in the department, no one really knows what was going on in his department, not even the minister of Magic knows what goes on in his department. When Roger become the head of his department that he made it plain to the minister of magic that he wouldn't been able to tell him very much of what what happen in his department if anything at all. He told the minister that there are reasons of why the department of mysteries were called the department of mysteries, for there things that couldn't go out in the open. For there are things in the department or things that the workers know and keep in their heads that could bring damage as well as good to the wizarding world as well as the muggle world. He didn't think it was good idea to let the minister or anyone else for that matter, to know what was going in the department for there are things that was dangerous as well as things that can be helpful in the department.
If any of it fell into the wrong hands, it could bring disaster to both the wizarding world and muggle world, if he wasn't as quiet as he was, than the things in his department might be known or at least some things would be known by the minister ad a few other people. Another reason he doesn't tell the minister was out of fear that the death eaters might try to get control over the ministry and there was a chance that someone close to the minister might be a death eater. He doesn't want the death eaters to know, at the moment the same holds for the order, Roger prefers the order but at the moment he wants to remain neutral and he wants to keep it that way until there was something that could change his mind. However he needed a break from work, so he got up from behind his desk and walked out of his office and walked to where the atrium was, for it was the break room. It took a little bit of time for him to get up there, as he entered that he saw a young woman that was close to age maybe a little younger sitting in an arm chair and her eyes were almost closed. If Roger was a muggleborn he would have wondered what was wrong with her, but being a pureblood an being the head of the department of mysteries that he knows what was wrong with the woman. For there was nothing wrong with her, as a matter of fact she was seeing a vision of some kind for the woman was a seer.
Roger knows that for he had seen a seer at work before, as it happen one of his workers was a seer and the worker die sometimes have vision while working in the part 12 years. The worker, that was a seer, was one of Roger's classmates at school but they were in different houses though, it wasn't till they started to work together that Roger learned of their ability. Roger had walked over to an arm chair and sat down, while he waited and watch the woman in the arm chair, after a couple of minutes that her eyes ha open and she pulled a notebook and started to write in it. Roger didn't say anything to her right than, if she doesn't notice him in the next ten minutes than he would say something to her. Roger figured the woman was writing down her vision in her notebook that she had pulled out after having the vision that she had. Roger had shifted after a couple of minutes that was when the woman had lifted her eyes and blinked at him, she gave a small smile of which didn't last very long for apparently there was pain or something. Roger didn't know what kind of side effects that there was to being a seer, for there could be many side effects or none at all, though having no side effects would see odd. Even with his own ability he has a side effect of which was getting tired sooner when he uses it for one reason or another, he didn't need to use it on a daily basis though.
Than the woman had said hello to him, Roger had nodded and smiled before he got up from his chair and spoke. "Hello, are you all right? Do you have side effects from your vision? I can get you a cup of coffee or tea for you if you like." Roger wanted to make sure that she needed anything to help her with her side effects, or if she needed something to drink. For the one seer that he knows would ask for a bottle of water after they had a vision if they had in the office and they were too tired to get up to get it, Roger wasn't sure if this woman had this side effects or not.

Sadie blinked in just a touch of surprise as before her stood up, saying hell o and asking if she was okay. It was quite a bit of a relief to have him know about her visions, as well as a bit of a shock. However, it was comforting nonetheless when he asked her if she was having any side affects from her earlier vision. It was additionally comforting when he asked if she would like coffee or tea. It was just that bit of kindness that made her smile, despite the slight, throbbing pain in the back of her had that had resulted from the unusual vision. So many people weren't as kind or considerate anymore. She truly couldn't help the smile that was blossoming on her lips.
"A bit of tea would be nice, truly." Sadie replied, her kind smile remaining on her face, though a slight tremor of pain might have been detected in her voice. "Thank you." She replied with an additional smile directed up at him. The young witch waited a few more moments before casting a pain relieving charm on herself. It helped just a bit to ease the pain of her headache. However, since they were magical in origin it couldn't do all that much to help.
"That one was much worse than the majority of them." Sadakanta commented a bit later, her voice much more relaxed. "My visions have been getting less painful since my Hogwarts days. It's the more important ones like this one, though that really hurt. The young witch continued, explaining herself just a bit more to the wizard. After all, it wasn't like he didn't deserve a bit of a explanation.
"I suppose it's a bit of my fault, though, since I didn't notice it at first. These visions of mine seem to like to draw attention to themselves before they actually happen." Sadie added, giving a slight shrug of her shoulders to punctuate the statement. She had been much too busy with her box of files to pay all that much attention to what was going on in her head. She should have known better, of course, but she was so comfortable with it all, sometimes she just forgot.
"Anyway, I'm Sadakanta Bryant, or just Sadie." She stated, with a bit of a sheepish grin at not having introduced herself earlier. "And who might you be?" Sadie queried with the last statement, her tone curious, though she wouldn't force him to tell her anything. However, the young witch did continue to peer up at the man, and fellow wizard with a smile on her face.
