personality: Roger is a quiet man, he's not shy, just quiet for that's what he's good at. That and keeping secrets from anyone is not suppose to know about certain things. For the most part, Roger likes to spend his time reading or writing instead of talking, but he does like to talk to people as long as it's to about what he's doing in his department.

background: Roger was born as the youngest of five children, not only that but he was the surprise children, for he was goof 15 years younger than the next youngest sibling. What made his birth even more surprising was that his mother didn't even she was pregnant with Roger till she had gave birth to him. Like the his two older brothers he was named after one of his male ancestor, he was the third one with the name, so he was giving the name of Roger Blackthrone the Third. He liked his name expect for the the third of which he just finds really annoying, for he never thought have the third or the second was all that important. Growing up, his parents were a bit worried, mainly because he didn't seem like the usual Blackthrone and all abotu pure blood and all that.
When he reached the age of six that his parents started to worry even more about him. Not only did not seem to take on the usual ideas of their family but he had showed no sign of magic. For the next year his parents had talked abotu putting him into an orphanage, but when he had hit his seventh birthday that two things happen. The first was that he had showed his first sign of magic, by making an enemy of his to blow up like a balloon. The second thing that had happen was that plants had grow aroudn Roger's feet and dirt started to come up and the plants hold the blow up boy while the dirt attacked him. After his parents manage to fix things that they had went to the records that they had and discovered that there was an ability in the Blackthrone family that every member had for a long time until Hogwarts was founded and than it disappeared. Of which was an earth manipulation power that one could control the dirt and plants of the earth, the older one gets and the more control they get over the power, the more powerful they become.
Roger was the first family member in over a thousand years to show this ability. For the next few years they had prepared him for Hogwarts and the training he would need to control his earth power. When eh turned 11 that he had went off to Hogwarts for his first year. To his family's surprise and horror, he was sorted into Hufflepuff. His family had demand that the hat replace him. As it happen the hat had said hufflepuff again, so they had tried to get the headmaster to get Roger into Slytherin like the rest of the family since the family had be goign to hogwarts. But the headmaster refused to do so, since the hat had said hufflepuff twice that he decided that the hat was correct. For the next seven years, Roger was training to be in the ministry, when he had let Hogwarts that he had become unspeakable trainee and he moved rather quickly because of his quiet nature and the ability to keep secrets. With his earth element power and how good he was at charms and transfiguration that had helped him even more to raise further in the unspeakable ranks for the next many years.

rp example: Roger opened his eyes just before the sun had come up, he know it was time to get ready to go to work. He needed to get there earlier than most people, expect for a few like the minster of magic and some of the other heads. Being the head of Mysteries can be a tiring job and sometimes he felt the need to talk to no end with someone. But making sure that neither the Order or the Death eaters try to see what was going in that department was hard. He's carefully to make sure that he can trust his workers, so he has them make the unbreakable vow along with some other magic to make sure that they don't say anything. No matter what side they are on, Brendan tries to have people who are neutral in his department but that's hard to manage.
When Roger had opened his eyes that he had got out of the bed and started to get ready for work, with taking a shower, having breakfast and getting dressed took about a hour. Usually it would take about 45 minutes, Roger had than left his home and started walking down the streets to where the Ministry of Magic was or at least one of the muggle entrance. After walking a few blocks that he had entered the phone booth and dial the number that he needed so that the phone booth would go under the ground. Than the booth started to go down and it had reached the floor of the ministry, Roger had got out of the booth and walked down to the elevators to get to the Department of Mysteries. It had took a few minutes to get there, but when he manage to get to the level that he walked off Adan walked down a few halls before he had entered his own office adn sat down behind the desk.
