[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]It would have been an understatement to say that his roommates were mildly annoyed with him. He had spent several hours into the night last night scratching away with his quill, on his bed, working on his homework. His dorm mates especially weren't impressed that he had woken up and started working on his homework again, at seven, in the morning, on a Saturday, when there really was nothing to really do, so, therefore, there would have been extra time to sleep. This also showed, a bit, how little they appreciated his bookworm nature, that was, unless he was helping them out with their homework at the time.
So, subsequent to that string of events, Hunter Eric Morgan had been kicked out of not only his bed and dormitory, but also out of the Gryffindor Tower as a whole, really. Although, kicked out wasn't really all that correct of a term, Hunter thought idly. they had, much more like ordered him out of the tower, and followed to make sure that he had, in fact left the Gryffindor Tower. He had had barely enough time to gather up his school bag and throw a few books, pieces of parchment, quills, and ink into it. Quite frankly, he wasn't feeling all too civil towards his dorm mates at the moment, either. What right did they have to kick him out of the Gryffindor Tower, or even his bed, really? He had a rather good right to be upset.
The fifth year Gryffindor huffed a sigh as he trailed through the corridors, his book bag slung over his shoulder, lurching, ever so slightly with each long step that was taken with his long legged gait. Turning another corner, Hunter glanced up, taking note of the tall flight of stairs that climbed upwards to the owlery, as well as the Ravenclaw dormitories. His destination, however, was the former of the two, seeing as he had no reason to be visiting the Ravenclaw dormitories.
Hunter's footsteps echoed off of the stairs as he traipsed upwards, a ring of the stairs sounding every time that he lifted his foot and placed it down again. By the time that the Gryffindor boy reached the top of the tower he was breathing a bit heavily, though not as much as he would have if he had ran, full out, up the long flight of stairs. The youthful Gryffindor smiled to himself as he turned and made his way into the owlery, making his way, slowly, once he reached the owlery, past the perches that housed the school's owls, as well as the student's owls.
The relatively young boy made his way to a small balcony that stretched outside, into the open air, though it was safe, with a railing surrounding it. The curious part, to Hunter, was the fact that there was a few chairs, scattered about it, as well as a table, which he guessed was for the purpose of writing letters, for students who, for some reason, couldn't write them elsewhere.
Hunter smiled to himself as he made his way over to the table and chairs, stepping lightly until, he plopped down into the chair, settling himself in by placing his school bag on top of the table and beginning to fish about for his book inside of it. A few moments later he managed to find his book in the quickly thrown together mess of his book bag and pulled it out with a broad, accomplished grin. However, this success was accompanied by the sound of familiar, light footsteps that he knew all to well. After all, he lived in the same house as the girl who was making the noise.
Turning, Hunter's grin broadened at the sight of his sister, "Hello, little Ruby." He said as he faced the girl, who was three years his junior, still grinning broadly. It had been a while since he had seen her around the castle. "What brings you all the way up here?" Hunter's tone was curious, it was his job to know a bit about this, after all. How else would he play the overprotective brother this well?
