These are the canon characters that are available to be claimed. Those that are crossed out have already been claimed. The information for characters that aren't main characters in the books comes from the Harry Potter Lexicon.
We currently have two original canons open which are vital to our plot.
If you would like to claim a character, please reply to this post stating which character you would like to claim. This works on a first come, first serve basis.
Once you have claimed a character, please create their profile according to the character profile template like you would with any original character.
If you find any mistakes in the list or people missing, please let me know. Also, no known Death Eaters have been added to the list (aside from Malfoy) as we barely know what became of the ones that were not killed in the final battle or before. If you would like to create a story for such a person, feel free to do so.
Claiming characters that died in canon Harry Potter: If you want to claim a character that died in the canon story of Harry Potter, I ask you to provide a good, viable and probable story as to how they survived and why it was thought that they were dead. However I by not means want to discourage you from claiming such characters.
