role play rules;;
These are the rules to ensure smooth role playing on the Unforgivable Alliance. Please read them and keep to them. Thank you.
- This site is bound to Proboards TOS and therefore all posts must not be rated higher than PG-13. We are not restricting topics, but please fade to black before the rating goes higher.
- Everyone may play as many characters as they want, but remember that you must create a new account for each character. You also have to sign up in the character creation section with each new character. Please don't take on more characters than you can keep active.
- (as of 18/11/2012) Please post your application within a day of signing up and please finish it within two days of posting it.
- Your display name must be the first and last name (middle name or nick name optional) of your character. Once your character has been accepted, please change the name to all caps in your profile, to keep in line with the look of character names.
- We try to keep this role play to at least intermediate level though everyone is welcome. However we ask that your role play posts are at least two to three paragraphs long (and accept, of course, that this is sometimes not possible).
- On the Unforgivable Alliance we would like everyone to have a character play-by and an according signature and avatar. Don't worry if you don't have one or can't make graphics. In our "character graphics" board there will be volunteers ready to make you a set.
- Your signature should not be larger than 500x300.
- Once you have signed up, please post your character application within three days.
- If you would like your character to be a werewolf, vampire, metamorphmagus or something of the likes, please include so in your character's profile. I'm sure there is an interesting story to go with it, so please include that story. Do not say your character is one of these things without giving a background.
- Once your character has been accepted, please start posting in all character relevant boards and start role playing. Do not wait for others to take you by the hand. Look at people's plot pages and request threading, make some open threads or reply to some. You can place {open} or a specific character's name in the subject line of your threads.
- Do not godmod. If you want to rp killing or seriously injure someone else's character, you must PM them about it first to have this ok'd. If you intend a character to be killed, please ok this with a staff member. (It might, for instance, be that a character is needed to further the plot.)
- If you'd like your original character to be related to a canon or original character that already exists in the role play, please make sure that's ok with the person who plays that character.
