Chapter 1
It is November 2012. Minister Shacklebolt was murdered only a few days ago and the Ministry is in chaos. The Aurors are trying their best to solve the mysterious murder case while keeping the rest of the Wizarding World calm. Unfortunately, many wizards now feel very unsafe.
Meanwhile the students at Hogwarts are facing a completely new issue as the new Minister, Roy Rudlow, has reinstated the Hogwarts Houses after eleven years of absence. Groups of friends are torn apart as they suddenly find themselves facing each other in competition. Bonds are broken and new bonds are formed.
Not all is well with the Verity either. After a few years of good sales the government independent newspaper finds itself struggling to continue competing with the Daily Prophet as the new Minister strives to gain control over the Verity of which the current leadership is less than reliable.
